"Starting a Business and Writing a Business Plan" is designed for individuals who are considering self-employment, or who may be at the beginning stages of starting a business. Delivered in a workshop format, this introductory session helps aspiring entrepreneurs assess their abilities to lead and manage a company, as well as evaluate market and sales potential for their products/services. Start-up costs, financing options, and business planning are introduced, along with necessary steps to getting started. The workshop will discuss each section of the business plan and how to start developing a start up cash flow.Additional information:The Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) enhances Michigan s economic well-being by providing counseling, training, secondary market research for new ventures, existing small businesses and advanced technology companies.
